Ingredients:
  • 2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes

  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread crumbs for coating
  • Oil for frying
Instructions:
  1. In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, chopped vegetables, onions, green chilies, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to form a dough-like mixture.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal-sized portions and shape them into flat round patties.
  3. Coat each cutlet with breadcrumbs, ensuring it is evenly coated on all sides. This will give them a crispy texture when fried.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan or skillet over medium heat.
  5. Carefully place the cutlets in the hot oil and fry them until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Flip them gently to ensure even cooking.
  6. Once cooked, transfer the cutlets to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve the veg cutlets hot with mint chutney, ketchup, or any dipping sauce of your choice.
