Ingredients:
- 1 cup mixed dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins), finely chopped

- 1/2 cup grated coconut

- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 1/2 cups water
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- To make the filling, heat a non-stick pan and dry roast the mixed dry fruits until they turn golden brown and fragrant.
- Add the grated jaggery and grated coconut to the pan and stir well until the jaggery melts and the mixture becomes sticky.
- Add 1/2 cup water and cook the mixture until it thickens and comes together.
- Add the ghee and cardamom powder to the pan and mix well.
- Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool.
- To make the dough, bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil in a heavy-bottomed pan.
- Add a pinch of salt and 1 cup of rice flour to the pan, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Mix well until the flour is cooked and the mixture comes together to form a smooth dough.
- Remove from heat and transfer the dough to a plate.
- Knead the dough while it is still hot until it is smooth and pliable.
- Divide the dough into small lemon-sized balls.
- Grease your palms with a little ghee and flatten each ball to form a cup-like shape.
- Place a small amount of the filling in the center of each cup.
- Carefully bring the edges of the cup together to form a closed dumpling, pinching the edges to seal.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling.
- Steam the dumplings in a steamer for 10-15 minutes or until cooked.
- Serve the Dry Fruit Modak hot or at room temperature.
