Ingredients:
For the Paneer Filling:

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
For the Wrap:
  • 4-6 whole wheat or all-purpose flour tortillas or chapatis (store-bought or homemade)
For Assembling:
  • Green chutney or mint-coriander chutney
  • Tomato ketchup or sauce
  • Sliced onions and cucumbers (optional)
Instructions:
  1. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  2. Add the finely chopped onions and green chili. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
  3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  4. Add the crumbled or cubed paneer to the pan and mix well with the onions and tomatoes.
  5. Sprinkle garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt over the paneer mixture. Mix everything thoroughly and let it cook for a couple of minutes until the paneer is coated with the spices and flavors.
