- 1/2 cup chickpea flour (besan)
- 2 tablespoons rice flour

- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Add a little water at a time to the dry ingredients and make a thick batter. The consistency should be thick enough to coat the shrimp.
- Add the cleaned and deveined shrimp to the batter and mix well, ensuring that each shrimp is coated evenly with the batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai for frying.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the coated shrimp into the oil one by one. Fry them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry the shrimp on medium heat until they turn golden brown and crispy. This usually takes about 4-5 minutes per batch.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried shrimp from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
