- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

- 1 dried red chili
- 1 sprig curry leaves
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan or kadhai over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds and let them splutter. Then, add the cumin seeds, dried red chili, and curry leaves. Fry for a few seconds until aromatic.
- Add the chopped onions to the pan and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and slit green chilies. Sauté for a minute until the raw smell of the ginger-garlic paste disappears.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
